THINGS ARE HAPPENING FAST 1. OLD siding is coming down. NEW Siding is going up. Volunteers of all abilities are welcome. Carpentry skills are certainly needed. Also if you can use a rake or broom, or fix a sandwich, you can join in our big project. Tasks are: remove the old shingles, clean up scraps, make repairs, update wiring and water outlets, install insulation and house wrap, and nail up the new siding. While all this is going on, the workers need food, drink, and appreciative supporters, so come and lend a hand in this truly historic restoration. Sign up below. 2. NEW SEATS for the Auditorium are ready to go in. The old seating is gone, and the floor has been refinished. Sign up below to help with the exciting installation of the new seats. 3. Support the Scout Eagle Project to build a new floor on the old Scout Cabin foundation. Monetary contributions and volunteer workers are essential to accomplish the project this spring. Help with one of our seasonal events to raise funds for rehabilitation of the Civic League facilities: Tell It on the Mountain March 27; America 250 & Birthday Bash June 13, Smoke on the Mountain October 3; and Merry Mt.
