The PURPOSE of this organization is
to promote the general interest and welfare of the community
Our VISION is to provide indoor and outdoor facilities for meetings, plays, festivals and carnivals, music events, seasonal celebrations, recitals, rallies, classes, lectures, educational and athletic events, private parties, weddings, reunions and any other suitable activities that benefit the people of Walden's Ridge.

The organization has accomplished all of these goals and has been in continuous operation for more than 100 years. Today, upon approval of the Officers and Trustees, members and temporary tenants may have use of the facilities for purposes that are encompassed in the Vision of the Walden's Ridge Civic League and are in the general interest of the people of Walden's Ridge.
Membership is open to any resident or property holder on Walden's Ridge. One year's dues of $20.00 must accompany an individual's application for membership and must be renewed annually to maintain voting privileges.
Officers, consisting of President, Vice-president, Secretary and Treasurer, are elected at the October annual meeting.

Trustees serve on the basis of 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 year terms. Trustees supervise the property and make recommendations on repairs and leases or rental contracts.
An Executive Committee consists of the officers and chairmen of these standing committees: Facilities, Garden, Finance and Budget, Publicity, Membership, Events, and Grounds. Committees welcome volunteers to join and help in growing and maintaining the Walden's Ridge Civic League.
